Food Storage

All food and “smellable” items must be stored in vehicles when not in use. Food should not be left out in campsites for any reason. We do have bears present that are going to be attracted to the smell of food if it is left in the campsite. Please lock it in your car.

Trash Disposal

A large dumpster is available for your use outside of the Camp Olmsted Forester Dining Hall. Throughout the day, if you are not in your campsite, please place your trash in your locked car or the dumpster.

Water Availability

Potable water (safe for drinking and cooking) is available in all campsites for your use. The shower house, with single stall showers are available for your use.

Need Ice?

Ice is available by request at the Camp Olmsted Forster Dining Hall. Please ask a staff member for assistance.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Yours in Scouting,

Elisabeth Warren | Goshen Scout Reservation Director
