We’re very excited to be adding another member to our team! As of Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Ryan Alford will be joining our year-round staff as the Incoming Superintendent.
Ryan will be working with Mike Jolly, our current Superintendent at Goshen Scout Reservation, and learning from him over the course of the next year as Mike plans for his retirement after more than 30 successful years with us.

We are very excited to welcome Ryan Alford back to the National Capital Area Council, BSA as the Incoming Superintendent at the Goshen Scout Reservation! Ryan previously served as the Ranger at Camp William B. Snyder for 5 years. Ryan earned a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Vincennes University and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and exploring new places. Ryan is excited to return to NCAC and continue the strong legacy of Goshen Scout Reservation through legendary customer service and exceeding expectations.
