Meet Your
Food
Service
Director
Whitney Spearman
2024 is Whitney’s 5th summer on Goshen’s food service team and her second year running food service. Whitney is a Hampton Roads area native who found her way to Goshen while on summer vacation from college. She worked in Camp Marriott’s staff kitchen in 2011 and 2012. After 2012 she took some time away from Goshen to further her education and experience in the hospitality and food service industry while expanding her family. In 2022, Whitney returned to us, working as the Kitchen Manager at Camp Ross. With her expertise and love for the well being of the entire Goshen Scout Reservation, Food Service Director was a perfect fit. Whitney’s vision is to bring health and nutrition to the fundamentals of camping. With Whitney’s fresh mindset, her twist on the traditional camp meals, and Drac’s foundation, she expects to elevate the Goshen Scout Reservation experience, starting with food service.
