How to: Unit Registration Rosters
To ensure that the Goshen Scout Reservation and the units who stay with us are in compliance with BSA membership policies regarding camping eligibility, we are requiring that each unit who stays with us provide a Scoutbook unit roster at the time of check in to ensure that all attendees are registered members of the BSA, including all camping adults, and that all adults have current YPT. The roster should indicate all youth and adults who are attending with your unit.
To create the necessary roster please follow the instructions below:
- Log Into Scoutbook – https://www.scouting.org/resources/scoutbook/
- Select your unit from the menu.
- Select Troop Roster (listed in the menus at the bottom of the screen).
- Select Print Roster (at the very bottom of the Troop roster screen).
- This will move you a screen with a Custom unit Roster Creator.
- Add a Roster name to customize your event.
- Leave the radio button selected for Last Name, First Name.
- In the left hand column:
- Select the correct check boxes for all adults and youth attending
- Please note that non registered adults (those only listed as parents) may not attend overnight events.
- Select the correct check boxes for all adults and youth attending
- In the right hand column:
- Under Scout Options: Select Show BSA ID.
- Select the checkbox Show Training with options.
- Select the radio button for YPT Training.
- At the top right RUN the report.
- Please print a copy and bring this roster with you to the event.
